Savannah Longo

Savannah Longo is a senior at Wake Forest from Hickory, North Carolina. She is earning her degree in Health and Exercise Science and is minoring in Biology and Neuroscience. Savannah got involved in the Behavioral Medicine Lab because she is passionate about working with the aging population to increase longevity and quality of life through exercise. She has done translational research for the past three years in a lab that studies the effect of aging and Alzheimer’s Disease on the neuromuscular system, and she is looking forward to working in a hands-on setting with participants in the Behavioral Medicine Lab. After undergrad, Savannah plans to work in clinical research and then attend physician assistant school.
