Carter Stoke

Carter Stoke is a first-year Master’s student at Wake Forest University. He received a B.S. in Exercise Science with minors in Biology, Psychology, and Neuroscience from Elon University in May 2025. During his time at Elon, Carter conducted a three-year undergraduate research thesis on theacrine, a caffeine-like supplement, to study its impact on heart rate, blood pressure, salivary cortisol, mood, and cognitive performance. He also worked as an undergraduate TA for the exercise physiology lab and spent four years working for Campus Recreation. After he finishes the Master’s program, Carter hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Exercise Psychology to study the impact of exercise on cognition.
